The Pasadena Finance Committee meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, August 3 to continue discussion about the fate of building a new ice skating center in the City of Pasadena .



Without the continued support from Pasadena residents and patrons of the Pasadena Ice Skating Center , the plans for funding the new ice skating rink may likely be cancelled, and the Pasadena Ice Skating Center may be forced to close its doors for good in 2011.



This would leave our children, teenagers, figure skaters, hockey players, coaches, and community without an ice skating facility and force us to go outside of the city to other ice rinks. Our city deserves to have its own revenue-generating ice rink and we must show that we want and need it!



This is the last time to show your support to “Build the Rink” !

YOUR EMAILS ARE STILL URGENTLY NEEDED BEFORE FRIDAY, JULY 31.



1. Use the email sample on the back of this flyer to email the Mayor of Pasadena (Bill Bogaard) as well as each of the Pasadena Council Representatives. Email addresses to be used are listed in the sample.



2. Please attend the Pasadena Finance Committee Meeting on Monday, August 3 at 4:00 pm. The full council may actually vote on the new rink following the Finance meeting.

All patrons, skaters, parents, coaches, and residents are invited to meet

in front of Paseo Colorado ( Colorado side) at the bottom of the stairs at 3:30 pm.

We will walk over to City Hall as a united support group!

We encourage you to wear your hockey or figure skating attire!
